I never thought I would be one to take CBD, let alone a mom using CBD products.
Growing up I always had a negative thought about marijuana or anything that altered your state.
As time passed and I matured into a wife and mother and the stressors of life came I started to look into products that would help me not feel so stressed throughout the day. I live in Colorado and when marijuana became legal my husband recommended I try an edible to help me, it was a healthier alternative to some of the other options I was looking at. I was hesitant because of my own old beliefs but I followed through and tried it. I quickly realized this alternative was NOT for me. I had other friends and family members that loved this alternative, I just didn’t like how it made my body feel. I was now in search of something that could help me feel great, give me energy, take away my everyday aches and pains, and help me manage life’s stressors, including being a mom.
A couple of years ago I went to a women’s night out event and met a wonderful gal, we hit it off and started talking all things “mommy” along with all things work and life-related. She told me that she was in the CBD industry. I was intrigued because I didn’t know anything about it except that I knew that it was in the Marijuana family. She explained to me that it was in the family but that I wouldn’t have the “high” feeling. That I could use it in a cream and I could get an ingestible as well. A few weeks later I met her at the store she was working at and learned more about CBD and how it could help me and my husband. I bought a few things, like CBD drops, and started taking what I thought was a great CBD product.
What I didn’t know at the time is there are different types of CBD, that you always want to see lab results before you buy a product and that not all products are created equally (i.e. the amount of CBD in the product, ingredients, how the hemp plant is grown, etc.). After our first go around with a small CBD company, and not many results, I gave up for a while. My husband wasn’t convinced it was helping and I agreed with him.
In 2019 CBD showed back up in our world, and this time we weren’t looking for it. My husband and I had a friend that asked us to try a CBD product from a company I had never heard of, Heal Brand. We had nothing to lose so we went for it. I started taking Heal Brand NANO 3,000mg tincture. OMG, my world changed! The first day I took a few drops. I felt energized and happier than normal. I also felt like my brain fog had lifted, I noticed that I was fully present with my family that afternoon.
I then questioned, “how in the world can one product, taken one time, make this much of a difference???”
I contacted customer service with The Heal Brand and asked why this was and how it felt like a miracle. The lovely woman that assisted told me that:
In this conversation, she also gave me a little background on the company and how they are in FULL control of their products. She told me that Heal Brand is vertically integrated, I was clueless, she laughed and said…
“It means we control the supply chain. We are there from start to finish – seeds, farming support, extraction & processing of the product”.
My mouth hit the floor! I was in awe that this company was so involved with a product to make sure the consumer was getting the best of the best. I WAS SOLD!
I love that Heal Brands products are all-natural, that they put the consumer first, and they keep middlemen out of the equation.
